David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25 1949) is an American journalist, anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. Its stunning video footage as well as its animated gestures make it the most watched American newscast. Made In America has also been selected for the Emmy Awards. He was Diane Sawyer's primary replacement anchor prior to his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight. He was a reporter on a variety of primetime ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. His journeys have brought him to every corners of the earth and include Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and more. The awards he has received include numerous Edward R. Murrow Awards and honors by The Associated Press.
